NRIs / Indian nationals who have passed Class 12 outside India / Candidates who have passed Class 12 in India, but sponsored by parents / blood relatives having NRI status fall under NRI category. These candidates are also required to appear for NUCAT 2026, for admission to BSc Nursing.
Candidates who are Foreign nationals / Persons of Indian Origin / Overseas Citizens of India fall under Foreign National category. These candidates are eligible for direct admission based on marks secured in Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects in Class 12 / equivalent examination.
Pass in Class 12 or equivalent examination with not less than 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English as one of the languages of study.
In addition to the basic eligibility criteria mentioned above, candidates falling under General & NRI categories should qualify in the Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT) 2026. Candidates appearing for Class 12 examination during 2025-26 are eligible to apply for NUCAT.
